A MANIFESTO

I am individual and I am tired of watching my fellow humans waste away, living a lie. Everywhere I go, I see those who’ve conformed to such atrocities, wishing for them to snap out of it! But, alas, they cannot hear my voice over the lies fed to them. So here I am, a proud member of the Real Crew, and I have noticed a major flaw with the people in our society.

This society is filled with a disease. It’s a disease where people are blindly infringing upon their rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  They are chained by the false belief of being “one with the crowd.” Symptoms of this disease are as follows:

·      “Fake” authenticity levels

·      Lack in Character

·      Loss of Happiness

·      Denial

·      Overly Insecure

·      Secretive Nature

As a result of this, these poor individuals are subject to being the worst kind of person around: Molders.

Let me explain how this epidemic originated. The Molders sprouted ever since man took over the planet. These individuals are poisoned by the overbearing “high standards” of culture. Thus beginning to mold others the way they see fit. Ever since man began to evolve and the culture began to grow out of control, they’ve redesigned their lives and lost themselves.

Over the recent years, a study has been conducted on these so-called Molders. As evidence, it’s concluded that 65% of the world’s population is full of nothing BUT people who’ve succumbed to this bland flavor.  In addition to this, 55% have demonstrated huge signs of denial. This results in the similarity between these Molded individuals and people who deny that they have an addiction. Scary.

To all of you Molders you are reading, have you really expressed yourselves? I believe you haven’t in the slightest. You are just lying to yourselves and those around you. But you don’t fool me. Easily following every trend, conforming to society- despicable.  You’re easily persuaded to change at the drop of a hat. Stop it.

You’ve shamefully dishonored the heroes of old. Moses, who led his people out of oppression, would be ashamed of how everyone is blindly following the winds of social change. Patrick Henry, famed for saying “GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH!” would be harshly displeased seeing his fellow Americans today. Where is your sense of liberty?!  Where is your drive for truly being YOU? I’ll tell you where it’s gone! It’s been enslaved by the false representation of this version of you! You’ve done nothing but lose your sense of self-empowerment. You’re all scared of what’ll happen to you once you’ve revealed your true self.

The purpose of the Real Crew is simple. We are here to empower those who’ve lost their way, allowing them to fully embrace who they are. Now, think of those who’ve always portrayed who they were deep down. Think of the X-Men, who were cast aside from not conforming to basic human life. These “mutants,” were cast aside, labeled as freaks. Some of the traumatized mutants wished to conform back to being human, desperately grasping at the vaccination to be made normal once again.

There were those who graciously strutted their stuff. They accepted this change and used their abilities to better not only themselves, but to empower those who were scared of being who they were. That is who we are. We are the X-Men, battling against those who wish to corrupt the world for their personal gain.

It’s sickening to watch these Molders. They’ve once been real individuals who’re now tainted by society.  With this newfound influence, they wish to spread it. The more these Molders are out and about, the more they’ve preyed on the authenticity of someone else. They have pretended to be your allies, but in reality, they’ve formulated ways to make you fall into their trap. Molders will stop at absolutely nothing to corrupt the entire world. Once everyone is just like them, then all hope for individuality and humanity will be lost forever.

In response to the epidemic that has been sweeping the nation, the Real Crew has established several guidelines to be followed:

1.     BE AUTHENTIC.

2.     Life is meant to be lived by you and only YOU.

3.     Don’t change for others.

4.     Don’t waste with your time with these Molders.

5.     Do/wear what makes you happy.

6.     Uphold your true beliefs.

7.     Seriously, be real. Nobody likes an unauthentic person. So not cool.

We believe that there will be much change after these are actual laws. For you see, these will have enabled those who’ve been stifled by these radical conformists to breath a sigh of relief. They’ll be able to enjoy wearing whatever makes them happy as opposed to walking around looking like someone they’re not. The world will be cured of such trifle or petty Molders, reverting them back to the real person they were meant to be.

Even though you Molders will attempt to put up a fight, I highly proclaim that your efforts to deny these rules will be futile. If any of you choose to continue such annoying habits, then the Real Crew will have no choice but to seclude each and every one of you to suffer the way we all have. Each of you Molders will be rehabilitated on an island, accompanied by someone who is EXACTLY like you. This punishment has been established to be the most severe and easily carried out.

In spite of having you believe that this sounds splendid, you’ll not only be around people who’re just like you. You Molders will be overdosed on what you believe to be the most trendy. So go ahead and enjoy your Twerk Teams, YOLOs, duckfaces, swaggers, or your overly mainstreamed books and movies while you can. In due time, you’ll be itching to get out of bland hell you’ve fallen in. Your Mold will be demolished, paving way for your real self.

To all my fellow kinsmen who’ve seen the Molders devour an innocent civilian- RISE! This oppression shall not stand! Arm yourselves with words of steel! Defend with actions that only a true individual can wield! There is no time to be wasted! Fight for individuality! Fight for the voices that have long been silenced! Fight for the future of the next generation! Fight to end their reign! Their hour of reckoning is close at hand!

Stand up for the rights that can’t be denied! Join us in a movement to finally create a world free of the Molders’ influence! Immerse yourself in a world where every person around is initially different. They’re free to be who they were and NOT undergo the pressure of being looked down upon. There’s no worry of conforming to the latest of trends or be “all about that life.” No more Molders. No more stifled voices. No more lies being spoon-fed to drastically change people to “blend in.”

Behold that dream of an eclectic world. Where people are happily expressing what they are deep down. Whenever you’re being pressured to “fit in,” remember these five letters: WCRYD.
